We raised a lot of money during the Trenton Yard Sale, thanks in large part to the support of our community and our athlete parents. A special thanks goes out to Jim and Jayne Prushing for allowing us to use the Trenton Drug Parking Lot as the site for our fund raiser.

The scrimmage against St. Ignatius went very well. While we did not come away with a victory in either the boys or girls games, the athletes finally got a real taste for the game and began to become accustomed to the speed and pace of the matches.

On the boys side, we had a lot of opportunities for goals and capitalized on several of them. However, with limited substitution capabilities, our boys ran out of steam in the final quarter and fell behind. All in all, an excellent job all the way around. Lots of hard hits were delivered and taken on both sides!

On the girls side, we had several break away plays, but were unable to capitalize on them due to excellent play by the St. Ignatius goalie. Stand-outs were all over the field, so include the entire roster for the "at-a-girls". The defense was outstanding all around and the entire team deserves a big round of applause for holding them to only 2 goals. Job well done.

We received compliments from the St. Ignatius coach, as well as other area coaches in attendance and other notable Lacrosse figures, on our level of play, our enthusiastic crowd and the overall way in which the games were conducted.

We are currently engaged with several organizations about securing a home field for the Spring 2009 season. Many organizations have stepped up to help us out and we are very gratefull for the offers. Over the next month or so we will attempt to finalize plans for the new home field site. Check back often for more updates.
